day 73. skiing. sunday river. 2/28.

another good six inches or so had fallen and the snow was getting drier. i chose to ski and do the outback. around the bottom of oz i got stuck in a little bit of bumps, but other than that despite my still tired legs, everything went smoothly. i really admire people who can just attack the bumps but i just can't. my legs simply aren't quick enough. a rare treat for the day was covering a break at the top of oz, which usually isn't open long enough to require a break, and the amount of pure white snow up there was breath-taking.
