day 60. skiing. titcomb mt. 2/13.

finals for the states. both kasmira's times were just over 40 seconds. we're still not sure of all the results because we didn't stick around for the awards banquet which wouldn't even start till around 8 hours after kasmira's last run. i was told the next day the telstar girls did come in second. over the last couple of weeks of the season it seemed some of the other girls on telstar were able to cut a bit off their times while kasmira's times slowed a little so it was a little disappointing. personally, i think the challenge of the slalom slowed her progress a little and she wasn't quite as aggressive on the grand slalom as she was before. but now, with race season behind us kasmira can just relax and return to being a "recreational" skier. maybe even snowboard a bit more...
