day 71. snowboarding. sunday river. 2/25.

we finaly got snow but it was very wet heavy snow. i had to shovel the entire magic carpet with one other liftie and it was exhausting to say the least. about an hour and a half of shoveling. i wasn't even going to go riding but decided to give it a whirl. went up the chondola and it was snowing and sleeting pretty hard at the top. headed towards escapade (where else?) and on the flats it was surprisingly smooth sailing. at the first pitch it was still pretty nice but as i wen along it got stickier and stickier and it started get bumpy. my legs tired quickly and while i thought it would get better when i hit broadway, but it didn't. one run and done.
